9. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, £87.38 The capital of Malaysia is also one of the cheapest destinations when it comes to daily costs. According to the report, the city was also the 9th cheapest for accommodation costs, with one night's stay for two people costing £44.00.
8. Jakarta, Indonesia, £85.11 The capital of Indonesia, based on the island of Java is also one of the cheapest places for fine dining with an average meal for two costing £13.00.
7. Bucharest, Romania, £83.76 The Romanian capital has long had a reputation for being on the cheaper side and this study has confirmed that. It is the 10th cheapest destination for a wine too, costing roughly £4.63 a bottle, and taxis with the average fare for a 5km journey with one person being £1.62 (for London, it's £12.50).
6. Cairo, Egypt, £79.17 As well as being the 6th cheapest destination when you tally everything together, Cairo was actually the cheapest place to get a taxi. For a 5km journey for one person it costs less than £1 at 79p. Fast food in Cairo costs an average of £2.55 and splurging on fine dining means you won't actually be splurging at all, because the average price of a meal for two is £12.00.
5. Siem Reap, Cambodia, £78.96 As well as being the home of Angkor Wat – the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site –Siem Reap is also the 5th cheapest destination. A hotel stay for two people for a night can fetch around £42.00 and the destination was ranked the cheapest place to buy a beer, at just £2.30 for a pint.
4. Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, £74.71 It's quite amazing that a destination so beautiful is also so cheap. Denpasar ranked cheapest for a night's accommodation at £33.00 for a hotel room for two people. Let's compare that to the most expensive, which was New York City, with an average night's stay for two reaching around £258.00. It was also the second cheapest place to get a taxi, one behind Cairo, at £1.10 for one person travelling 5km.
3. Manila, The Philippines, £70.20 The capital of the Philippines - which consists of more than 7,000 incredible islands - is the second cheapest destination for a beer, at £2.63 for a pint. Food is pretty cheap too with an average meal for two costing £11.00 and fast food costing £2.41.
2. Antalya, Turkey, £69.87 The southern Turkish resort of Antalya, which sits on the Mediterranean, is the second cheapest destination to visit for 2018. This is partly due to its hotel costs - where a one night stay for two can be £38.00 - and its restaurant options, as a meal for two can be as reasonable as £11.00.
1. Kiev, Ukraine, £64.79 The Ukranian capital was ranked the cheapest holiday destination for 2018, costing just £64.79 per night to stay and enjoy yourself there. One thing you can definitely enjoy there are cocktails, cocktails and more cocktails as Hoppa ranked them the third cheapest with the average costing just £2.94. London, on the other hand, was the 10th most expensive costing an average of £11.00.
